Lovely!! Images from our nature is absolutely fantastic in Black and White and so is yours =)
I like this very much. There is something very beautiful to me about the remains of damaged trees. I guess it's how the organic matter continues after the initial complete organism is no longer standing.
I like the texture in this photo - an old, broken tree has its own beauty.
The texture and tonal range is outstanding Dragonstar
Lot of texture in the shot.
Wonderful textures.
I know I am repeating other comments but the texture is marvelous
Art in nature :)
Oh...you know how much I love trees Dragonstar. The details, the tones, the textures are wonderful. You done it!
There is beauty, even in decay, if we look! The tree was weakened by rot in its center and broke, but still there is beauty in it.
Agree with others...the texture is awesome!
Nice picture..;D
Beautiful nature shot :)
beautiful textures...I too love to photograph things in transition.
Dragonstar, Thank you so much for hosting this wonderful site. I like your "broken tree". Do you think that creative people are drawn more to seeing beauty everywhere, and not just to things that typically have beauty?
I love driftwood, old stumps, even the bark on a tree--I think they make lovely photos, especially in B&W. Nice capture. Mickie
The texture of pain!
Very good composition and texture.
Regards and best wishes
I love the parabola shape that suggests a nest within.
Great shot, looks like autumn ..
Have a nice week :)
Very nice shot! Love pine trees!
Reminds me of my childhood when I lived in Portugal and our house was surrounded by very tall pine trees;o)
