After I'd taken the photo I posted last week Aileni rejoined me (he'd been doing some shopping while I rested my leg). We went into the café for a snack. I liked the look of these condiments on the table. They were against a waist-high glass wall, which caused all kinds of reflections!

The Weekend in Black and White

Lovely post. I like the glow in the photo.
Like the perspective on this - and that lovely shine on the chrome. Great capture.
That's a very cool shot, wonderful composition.
I like this shot very much. A still life of condiments. Great idea.
The big three - makes me want chips with lots of salt and vinegar!
This is good! Like it!
You're right about the reflections indeed.
A good weekend to you!
I love the clean, crisp look. And although I love bokeh, I am glad that the lights behind the bottles did not blur!
Happy BW weekend!
They make me think of chess pieces, like the design
never changes! What a great shot!
Marvelous. You managed to turn the mundane into the sublime.
I love it! I have similar salt and pepper shakers but have never thought of trying a photo.
I agree, the reflections are great fun and add a lot.

Great capture of various shines! Love the lines shaping the glass and contents!
The reflection and the glow is awesome...
Very nice photo...I like glass in b/w...;-D
very beautiful b&w photo.
thank you for your continued encouragement.
Works well in b&w; the depth of field makes it, wouldn't be the same if the background was sharp.
I love the hugeness of the things. It gives the feeling that the things are really big and the watcher is just a small one.
Very nice.
Nice pic :)
salt and pepper, the perfect black and white choice! Love all the silver of the glass shakers too, great photo!
Like your shot - lovely reflection ;)
Have a nice week.
I took a photo same as this. yours is better. urg!
Often we have the motive in front of us - it is just to see and shoot :)
Have a nice Sunday!
nice angle on this one, and great in monochrome!
Yes, the highlights are definitely the shadows and reflections... Happy Valentine's!
brilliant
loved this!!
Ahh, interesting, like all the reflections and light/shadow, a lot to see.
lovely chrome-factor and the crisp-element :) charmingly framed piece of work, attractive in mono.
