The Weekend in Black and White

I stopped for a cup of coffee and a scone one sunny morning on a shopping trip to Letterkenny.
This was the view from my table.

A closer look at the mantelpiece...

...and the shadows on the wall.

I hope you all enjoy the new-look monochrome theme.

That looks like a delightful place and you photographed it so well. I do like the new look of the monochrome theme and thanks to you for carrying on with this fun theme.

Well, I found the right place. Sometimes my brain needs a nudge!

These are lovely, simple and elegant. The circle and diamonds grillwork is especially nice, and pulls the mirror over the mantelpiece right to the table.

You have just proven - once again - that appropriate b & w subjects can be found anywhere. If you look for them. These were very elegant indeed.

Nice, Dragonstar. Would love to come visit you and have a cup of coffee in your home. (Have corrected my post - think it's working now. Tks for the heads up.)

If they could speak, I wonder what these shadows have to say...

Such a nice homey place. I like the sheen on the objects on the mantle, and the geometric play of the shadows. Hope your weekend was as serene as the photos.
