I love the way the berries are highlighted.
I think we've had similar weather here in NE Oregon! However, there are some stubborn leaves hanging on to one of the big-leafed maples in our yard.
The shiny berries look good in B&W.

Seeing the abundance, I can just imagine it all stripped away by the rain and splattered on the ground.
They are just lovely… a nice contrast of shadow and light. I do hope you will participate in the Gratitude Quilt this year it is simple to do and will make your heart happy when you see the love unfurl on Nov 27th. Oh, now I got the English name for those beautiful red berries. We have a lot of those trees here and yesterday I was out taking pictures of the red berries covered in icy snow. But they look beutiful in black and white too. Great shot! :)
